We can print to a width of 24inches or 600m and can do this any length, so we handle A1 printing, A2 and A1 for many different uses. Length is restricted only by the length of the raw media.

Vinyl banners are worth considering as a low cost form of outdoor advertising and/or as  promotion materials.

Most banners are now printed digitally  using  large format inkjet printers which can produce outdoor bill boards in full colour are capable of printing a full color from a single piece of material.

PVC is a heavy vinyl which is the most commonly used material used for vinyl graphics. The weights very enormously according to  banner use – normally in the range from just under 10 oz to 20+ oz in either single or double sided.
The massive wall scale  banners  are printed on a special mesh to allow wind passage.

There are a variety of types from those water based inks throug semi-solvent to solvent based inks,  and UV curing is sometimes used to give colour stability.

Vinyl lettered banners can be created cut from self-adhesive vinyl by manually or increasingly common computer-driven vinyl cutters.

Screenprinted banners are created by stencils, one colour at a time.

Large format printing can refer to either printing in large size for example A0, A1 or A2 sizes, or can refer to printing from continuous roll of material rather than individual sheet.

Wide format printing typically refers to widths greater than 17 inches or more, and onwards up to 100 inches + or metric equivalents.

Such printing is used for a variety of uses such as poster printing or point of sale display uses, also in the design industries generally for prints of design drawings, although the latter use tends to be done by design offices rather than subcontracted out.

First get people to look…

> Use bright backgrounds – in some cases , particularly point of sale materials bright or fluorescent colours can help to draw attention.

Make it easy to read…

> Use colour strokes – that is a colour border around the text.

> Add shadows – these help give the poster text a 3D feel, and certainly help in making the poster come alive.

> Contrast text colours – use background colours opposite to the text.

> Psychology tests show the mind works easier on Dark text on bright background, and copywriters say that this increases sales split test results. Ignore at your peril.

> “getting the name out” is important, but making sure you give your readers an action to take, and a reason to do it, is vital to see a response.

In principle we can both print same day anything ordered before 3pm

We can then either deliver within the M25 up to 10pm subject to an extra charge, and confirmation, or put on overnight courier service, subject to availability and cost.

Just please be aware – design issues can take time, and depending on whether and how much design is involved same day printing or fast turnaround printing may not be possible.

We specialise in A3 printing which has a number of specialised uses.

First – Many Posters are produced in A3 sizes, which is poster printing either for retail point of sale printing or smaller posters such as those that line for example escalators either in shopping malls, or for example the London Underground.

Second – A3 Printing is often used , particularly as A3 Duplex for folding and center stapling into booklets, sales letters or A4 sized brochures generally. The cover can be either A3 Card or A3 paper. The direct mail industry often uses A3 Printing duplex and staple folded to A4

The quality of print, design and alignment issues in which we take great pride are subtly different for the two types of large format printing.
